Beclometasone dipropionate 250 mcg + Formoterol fumarate 6 mcg per metered dose (MDI)
Maintenance treatment of asthma; maintenance treatment of COPD with frequent symptoms/exacerbations where inhaled corticosteroid + LABA combination is indicated
Beclometasone is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, swelling and mucus production. Formoterol is a long-acting beta2-agonist that relaxes bronchial smooth muscle to keep airways open for easier breathing.
For inhalation use only as prescribed. Shake well before use, exhale fully, seal lips around mouthpiece and inhale slowly while pressing the canister; hold breath for ~10 seconds. Use regularly at the same times; rinse mouth/gargle after each use to reduce oral thrush. Not meant for rapid relief—keep a rescue inhaler (e.g., salbutamol) for acute symptoms unless advised otherwise.

Do not use for sudden bronchospasm/acute asthma attack. Use with caution in heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, seizure disorders and glaucoma. Rinse mouth after use to prevent fungal infection; monitor for worsening breathing/paradoxical bronchospasm (stop and seek care). Long-term/high-dose inhaled steroids may cause adrenal suppression, reduced bone mineral density, cataract/glaucoma and growth suppression in children—use lowest effective dose. Avoid abrupt discontinuation without medical advice.
