Gudcef Dry Syrup

Gudcef Dry Syrup is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of urinary tract, skin & soft-tissue, ear, blood, genital and lungs (pneumonia).

In Bacterial infection

Gudcef Dry kills a wide range of bacteria by breaking down their cell walls, bringing the infection under control. Finishing the full course prevents it coming back.

In Chest infection

Gudcef Dry treats bacterial infections of the chest, easing the cough, fever and breathlessness as the bacteria are cleared.

In Urinary infection

Gudcef Dry clears the bacteria behind burning, frequency and pain on passing urine.

In Ear and throat infection

Gudcef Dry treats bacterial infections of the ear, throat and sinuses, relieving the pain and fever they cause.

In Typhoid

Gudcef Dry kills the typhoid bacteria in the blood and gut, bringing down the fever and preventing the complications of untreated typhoid.

AlcoholCAUTION

Alcohol may worsen the side effects of this medicine. Limit it.

Gudcef Dry Syrup is probably safe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feedingUNSAFE

Gudcef Dry Syrup is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.<br>Avoid prolonged use of Gudcef Dry Syrup , since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.

KidneyCAUTION

Gudcef Dry Syrup should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Gudcef Dry Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Gudcef Dry Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Gudcef Dry Syrup is recommended.
