Hand hygiene; helps reduce germs on hands when soap and water are not available.
Hand sanitizers/hand rubs (commonly alcohol-based) reduce microorganisms on the skin by disrupting their cell membranes and denaturing proteins. This lowers the risk of transmission of infectious agents via hands.
For external use only. Apply a small amount to palm, rub over all hand surfaces (palms, back of hands, between fingers, fingertips) until dry. Do not rinse; use as needed.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Happihands as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Happihands than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Happihands are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
| Pregnancy | Generally safe |
|---|---|
| Alcohol | Use with caution |
| Habit forming | No |
External use only; do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes and broken/irritated skin; rinse with water if contact occurs. Discontinue if irritation or allergy develops. Keep out of reach of children. Flammable if alcohol-based—keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Not a substitute for handwashing when hands are visibly soiled.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Happihands. Some combinations can change how Happihands works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight, heat sources and moisture. Keep container tightly closed.
