How Poc Glucospot Strips works

Each strip contains reagent chemistry that reacts with glucose in a small drop of capillary blood. The glucometer measures the resulting electrical/optical signal and converts it to a blood glucose reading.

How to take Poc Glucospot Strips

Use only with the compatible POC Glucospot glucometer as per user manual. Wash and dry hands, insert strip into meter, prick fingertip with a lancet, apply a small drop of blood to the strip sample area, wait for the reading. Use a new strip for each test; do not reuse. Test timing (fasting/post-meal) as advised by doctor.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Poc Glucospot Strips as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
