Uses of Tamova 40MG Tab

Treatment of estrogen receptor (ER) positive breast cancer, adjuvant therapy after surgery/radiotherapy/chemotherapy, metastatic breast cancer; may also be used for breast cancer risk reduction in high-risk patients as advised by doctor

How it works

Tamoxifen is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM). It blocks estrogen receptors in breast tissue, reducing estrogen-driven growth of breast cancer cells. In some other tissues it may show partial estrogen-like effects.

Directions for use

Tablet: take exactly as prescribed by the oncologist, usually once daily at the same time each day; can be taken with or without food. Swallow with water; do not stop therapy without medical advice.
