Telmisartan (40mg) + Metoprolol Succinate (25mg)
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), especially when a combination of an ARB and a beta-blocker is required; may be used in patients with hypertension with associated tachycardia/angina as advised by a doctor
Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II, lowering blood pressure. Metoprolol is a cardioselective beta-blocker that slows heart rate and reduces the force of contraction, decreasing blood pressure and cardiac workload.
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day. Swallow tablet whole with water; do not crush/chew if extended-release. Can be taken with or without food. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Telsaan Beta 25 Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Not for self-medication. Avoid in pregnancy; can harm the unborn baby. Use with caution in kidney or liver disease, dehydration/low salt, heart block, severe bradycardia, heart failure, asthma/COPD (may worsen bronchospasm), diabetes (may mask low sugar symptoms), and in elderly. Monitor blood pressure, pulse, kidney function and potassium. Do not stop metoprolol abruptly (risk of rebound angina/arrhythmia). Seek urgent help for fainting, very slow pulse, breathing difficulty, swelling of face/lips, or severe dizziness.
