A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Triglimimark-1MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Risk of hypoglycaemia increased with missed meals, excessive exercise, alcohol, or dose changes; carry a fast-acting sugar source. Use with caution in elderly, malnourished patients, and in kidney or liver impairment. Tell your doctor if you have G6PD deficiency (risk of haemolysis), adrenal/pituitary insufficiency, or if you are ill, fasting, or undergoing surgery (dose adjustment may be needed). Seek medical help for severe hypoglycaemia, allergic reactions, jaundice or dark urine. Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
