Wosulin-30/70 Dispopen

Biphasic human insulin provides both rapid and intermediate action. The soluble (regular) component covers post-meal glucose rise, while the NPH (isophane) component provides basal control between meals and overnight by facilitating glucose uptake and reducing hepatic glucose output.

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Wosulin-30/70 Dispopen as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Wosulin-30/70 Dispopen than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Other antidiabetics (may increase hypoglycaemia risk), beta-blockers (mask hypoglycaemia symptoms), ACE inhibitors (may increase insulin sensitivity), corticosteroids (raise glucose), thiazide diuretics (raise glucose), thyroid hormones (raise glucose), sympathomimetics (raise glucose), MAO inhibitors (increase hypoglycaemia risk), alcohol (can cause hypo/hyperglycaemia), atypical antipsychotics (raise glucose)

Store unopened pens refrigerated at 2–8°C; do not freeze and keep away from freezer compartment. Protect from light. Once in use, store at room temperature (generally below 25–30°C as per label) and use within the in-use period on the pack; keep cap on and avoid heat/sunlight.
