Uses of Zofix Dry Syrup

Bacterial infections such as upper and lower respiratory tract infections (pharyngitis/tonsillitis, sinusitis, bronchitis), ear infection (otitis media), urinary tract infections, and uncomplicated typhoid fever (as prescribed).

How it works

Cefixime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to death of susceptible bacteria.

Directions for use

Dry syrup: Reconstitute with boiled and cooled water up to the mark, shake well. Give the measured dose using a measuring cup/syringe as prescribed, once or twice daily. Can be taken with or without food; if stomach upset occurs, take with food. Shake well before each dose and complete the full course.
