It works by directly and selectively inhibiting factor Xa, an important clotting factor involved in thrombin generation. It reduces thrombin formation and helps prevent the development and spread of blood clots.
How to take Zuvixa 5 mg Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zuvixa 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Interactions with other medicines
Anti-inflammatory painkillers, including over-the-counter ones, sharply raise the bleeding risk. Combining two blood thinners multiplies the risk — never add one yourself. Tell your doctor about all herbal products; several affect clotting.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.

Zuvixa 5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Night-time administration is not preferable. It interacts less with food or other medicines. Hence, frequent dose changes are not required. It increases your risk of bleeding. Be careful while shaving, cutting fingernails or toenails, using sharp objects, or engaging in contact sports (e.g., football, wrestling).
