Composition of Zyrcold Dc Syrup

Zyrcold Dc Syrup contains Phenylephrine (5mg/5ml) + Chlorpheniramine Maleate (2mg/5ml) + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (10mg/5ml). It belongs to the Antitussive + Antihistamine (H1 blocker) + Nasal decongestant (alpha-adrenergic agonist) class of medicines.

How Zyrcold Dc Syrup works

Dextromethorphan suppresses the cough reflex by acting on the cough center in the brain. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that constricts swollen nasal blood vessels to relieve blockage. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that reduces sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes.

How to take Zyrcold Dc Syrup

Oral syrup; take as prescribed by a doctor. Measure with a dosing cup/spoon; usually taken 2–3 times daily. Can be taken with or without food; take after food if stomach upset occurs. Do not exceed recommended dose and avoid use for more than a few days unless advised.
