Uses of Actiflora Caps

Probiotic supplement used to help restore and maintain healthy intestinal microflora; may be used as adjunct in diarrhoea (including antibiotic-associated diarrhoea), loose stools, indigestion, bloating and gut dysbiosis.

How it works

Probiotics are live beneficial microorganisms that help restore the balance of gut flora. They inhibit growth of harmful bacteria, support digestion and improve intestinal barrier function, which can reduce diarrhoea and abdominal discomfort.

Directions for use

Capsule for oral use. Take as directed by physician; commonly 1 capsule once or twice daily, preferably after food. Swallow whole with water; if on antibiotics, take probiotics at least 2 hours apart.

Warnings & precautions

Use with caution in immunocompromised patients, those with severe illness, central venous catheter, or critically ill patients due to rare risk of bloodstream infection. Stop and seek medical advice if fever, persistent diarrhoea, dehydration, blood in stools or severe abdominal pain occurs. Not a substitute for oral rehydration in acute diarrhoea. Use in children, pregnancy and lactation only on medical advice.
