Ticagrelor 90 mg
Prevention of atherothrombotic events (heart attack, stroke, cardiovascular death) in adults with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or history of myocardial infarction; used with low-dose aspirin unless contraindicated.
Ticagrelor is an oral antiplatelet medicine that reversibly inhibits the P2Y12 ADP receptor on platelets. This prevents platelet activation and aggregation, thereby reducing formation of harmful clots in coronary arteries.
Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, usually with low-dose aspirin. Can be taken with or without food; swallow with water (may be taken after crushing if unable to swallow as advised by doctor). Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Artigrel-90MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Increases risk of bleeding—seek urgent help for unusual bleeding, black stools, vomiting blood, severe headache, or weakness. Avoid use in active pathological bleeding or history of intracranial hemorrhage. Use caution in patients with bleeding disorders, recent surgery/trauma, severe liver disease, gout/hyperuricaemia, or asthma/COPD (may worsen breathlessness). Do not discontinue without doctor advice (risk of heart attack/stent thrombosis). Inform surgeon/dentist before procedures.
