How Berivital Tablet works

Provides essential vitamins and/or minerals that act as cofactors in metabolism and red blood cell/nerve function. Helps correct dietary deficiencies and supports normal energy production and tissue repair.

How to take Berivital Tablet

Oral tablet. Take as directed by physician/label, usually 1 tablet once daily after food with water. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Berivital as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Berivital than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Berivital Tablet

Most side effects of Berivital are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Not a substitute for a balanced diet. Use with caution in kidney disease, liver disease, iron overload states (if iron-containing), or history of kidney stones (if vitamin C/calcium). Some vitamins/minerals can interfere with lab tests. Consult a doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, on chronic medicines, or if symptoms persist.

Interactions with other medicines

May interact with levothyroxine, tetracyclines, quinolone antibiotics (ciprofloxacin/ofloxacin), antacids, bisphosphonates, warfarin (vitamin K), methotrexate/phenytoin (folate), diuretics (electrolytes). Separate interacting medicines by 2-4 hours if minerals are present.
