C Fert M Tablet SR is used in the treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
C Fert M Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Metformin and Myoinositol, which treats polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in females. Metformin is an antidiabetic medicine which helps regulate hormones in PCOS by balancing insulin levels. This regularizes menstruation and ovulation cycles. Myo-inositol is a naturally occurring messenger which ensures proper binding of insulin to its receptors and regulates the signaling that follows the binding process. Like this, it improves body’s response to insulin, and improves hormone balance.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as C Fert Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
