Carvedilol 6.25 mg
Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension), chronic stable angina; also used in heart failure as prescribed to reduce symptoms and improve heart function.
Carvedilol is a non-selective beta-blocker with alpha-1 blocking activity. It slows heart rate and reduces the force of contraction (beta-blockade) and relaxes blood vessels (alpha-blockade), lowering blood pressure and reducing cardiac workload.
Take by mouth as advised by the doctor, preferably at the same time each day. Commonly taken with food to reduce the chance of dizziness/low blood pressure; swallow tablet with water and do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
