A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as D3 Baby Plus Drops. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Use only on medical advice in infants. Overdose may cause hypervitaminosis D leading to hypercalcemia and kidney problems; seek medical help if symptoms of high calcium occur (vomiting, constipation, lethargy, excessive thirst/urination). Use with caution in kidney disease, kidney stones, hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, sarcoidosis or other granulomatous disorders. Avoid concurrent use with other vitamin D/calcium products unless prescribed.
