HOPEcard 2.5 Capsule is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.

How to take Hopecard 2.5 mg Capsule

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. HOPEcard 2.5 Capsule may be taken with or without food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

Do not take Hopecard if

Not for people with narrowing of both kidney arteries, or a history of swelling of the face and throat caused by this group of medicines.

Interactions with other medicines

Anti-inflammatory painkillers reduce the effect and can harm the kidneys when combined. Potassium supplements, potassium-sparing water tablets and salt substitutes can push potassium too high. Lithium levels rise when taken with these medicines.

HOPEcard 2.5 Capsule can make you feel dizzy for the first few days, so rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. It may increase the level of potassium in the blood. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as bananas and broccoli.
