Sterile single-use pen needle (for insulin pen); gauge/length not specified
Used for subcutaneous administration of insulin or other injectable diabetes medicines using compatible insulin pens
A pen needle attaches to an insulin pen and provides a sterile, sharp cannula to deliver the injected medicine into subcutaneous tissue. It enables accurate dosing from the pen and reduces discomfort when used correctly.
Select a compatible pen needle size as advised by your doctor. Attach a new needle to the insulin pen before each injection, prime the pen if required, inject into recommended sites (abdomen/thigh/upper arm) with site rotation, hold for the recommended count, then remove and discard the needle in a sharps container. Do not reuse needles.
Common side effects of INSUPEN PRO PEN may include:
Single-use only; do not reuse to avoid infection, needle blockage and dosing errors. Do not share pens/needles. Use correct technique and rotate injection sites to prevent lumps (lipohypertrophy). If needle is bent, damaged, or contaminated, discard. Keep out of reach of children; risk of needle-stick injury. Dispose in puncture-proof sharps container as per local biomedical waste guidance.
