Lipikind-As Capsule contains Atorvastatin (10mg) + Aspirin (75mg).
Lipikind-AS Capsule is used for prevention of heart attack and stroke.
Lipikind-AS Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Aspirin/Acetylsalicylic acid, which prevents heart attack and stroke. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication that blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. It lowers the "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL). Aspirin/Acetylsalicylic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with anti-platelet action. It prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lipikind-AS Capsule is to be taken with food.Taking it with food helps to avoid stomach upset.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Lipikind-As as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Lipikind-As than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
