How Mv -Plus Tablet works

Multivitamin and multimineral supplements replenish essential micronutrients required for normal metabolism. They support energy production, red blood cell formation, nerve function, immunity and antioxidant defenses when dietary intake is inadequate.

How to take Mv -Plus Tablet

Oral tablet. Take 1 tablet once daily or as directed by a physician, preferably after food with water. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Mv -Plus as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Mv -Plus than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Mv -Plus Tablet

Most side effects of Mv -Plus are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

• dark stools (with iron)
• urine discoloration (with riboflavin)

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient. Use with caution in kidney disease, liver disease, history of kidney stones, iron overload disorders (e.g., hemochromatosis) or hypervitaminosis. If pregnant, breastfeeding, on chronic medicines, or if symptoms persist, consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children; overdose (especially iron-containing products) can be dangerous.

Interactions with other medicines

Levofloxacin/ciprofloxacin and other quinolone antibiotics (reduced absorption), tetracycline antibiotics (reduced absorption), levothyroxine (reduced absorption), bisphosphonates (reduced absorption), antacids containing calcium/magnesium/aluminium (reduced absorption), warfarin (vitamin K may affect anticoagulation), methotrexate and other folate antagonists (folic acid may interfere)

How to store Mv -Plus Tablet

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture and direct light. Keep the container tightly closed.
