Nebistar-T Tablet contains Telmisartan (40mg) + Nebivolol (5mg).
Nebistar T Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure.
Nebistar T Tablet is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Nebivolol and Telmisartan. Nebivolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and lower blood pressure. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels. Together they allow the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nebistar T Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Nebistar-T as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
