Rosuvastatin 5 mg + Fenofibrate 145 mg (tablet)
Management of mixed dyslipidemia (high LDL cholesterol with high triglycerides/low HDL), hypertriglyceridemia not adequately controlled with diet and lifestyle; to reduce cardiovascular risk in appropriate patients as advised by doctor
Rosuvastatin is an HMG‑CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) that reduces cholesterol production in the liver and lowers LDL and total cholesterol. Fenofibrate activates PPAR‑α, increasing lipolysis and clearance of triglyceride‑rich particles, thereby lowering triglycerides and may raise HDL.
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually once daily. Can be taken with or without food (preferably at the same time each day). Continue diet/exercise and avoid stopping without medical advice.

Not recommended in active liver disease or unexplained persistent elevation of liver enzymes. Risk of muscle injury (myopathy/rhabdomyolysis) increases with higher doses, kidney impairment, hypothyroidism, elderly, and with interacting medicines—seek care for unexplained muscle pain/weakness, fever, dark urine. Use caution in kidney disease; dose adjustment/avoidance may be needed. Fenofibrate can increase risk of gallstones and pancreatitis; stop and consult if severe abdominal pain occurs. Regular monitoring of lipid profile, liver function tests and kidney function is advised.
