Prevention of heart attack and stroke in high-risk patients, Management of high cholesterol (dyslipidemia) along with antiplatelet therapy, Secondary prevention in coronary artery disease after MI/angina/PCI as advised
Rosuvastatin inhibits HMG‑CoA reductase, reducing LDL cholesterol and triglycerides and modestly increasing HDL. Aspirin irreversibly inhibits platelet COX‑1, decreasing thromboxane A2 and reducing platelet aggregation to help prevent clot formation.
Take as prescribed by the doctor, usually once daily. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush/chew (aspirin is typically enteric-coated). Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day. Do not stop abruptly without medical advice.

Not for use in active liver disease or persistent unexplained liver enzyme elevation. Risk of muscle injury (myopathy/rhabdomyolysis) with rosuvastatin—seek care for unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, fever, or dark urine. Aspirin increases bleeding risk; avoid if you have active peptic ulcer/bleeding disorders and inform doctor before surgery/dental procedures. Use caution in asthma, gout/hyperuricemia, kidney impairment, uncontrolled hypothyroidism, heavy alcohol use, and in the elderly. Monitor lipids, liver function tests, and for signs of bleeding as advised.
