How Tendocel Capsule works

This medicine combines 5 active ingredients: Sodium Hyaluronate, Chondroitin, Collagen, Vitamin c and Rosehip Extract. Sodium Hyaluronate holds water in the skin and restores the barrier that dry, damaged skin has lost. Chondroitin supplies a vitamin, mineral or nutrient that your diet may not be providing in sufficient amount. Collagen supplies protein and amino acids, the building blocks your body uses to repair and maintain muscle and tissue. How to take Tendocel Capsule

Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it with or after food. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine is not a realistic risk from a moisturiser used on the skin. It can cause vomiting and stomach pain, and with iron can be dangerous, especially in children. It may cause stomach upset and, with prolonged excess, puts avoidable load on the kidneys. It can cause vomiting, stomach pain and, with some minerals, damage over the longer term. A supplement is not a substitute for a balanced diet or for treating the cause of a symptom. Iron makes stools black and can cause constipation — this is expected, but tell your doctor if it troubles you. Keep iron-containing products well out of reach of children; an overdose in a small child is a medical emergency. Check the labels of everything you take so you do not double up on the same nutrient. Tell your doctor before taking a protein supplement if you have kidney disease — the protein load matters. Drink plenty of water while taking a protein supplement. Check the label for milk or soy if you have an allergy or are lactose intolerant. A supplement supports a normal diet; it does not prevent or treat infection.
