How Uprise D3 6 L Injection works

Cholecalciferol is converted in the liver and kidneys to active vitamin D metabolites that increase intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate. It helps restore normal mineralization of bone and corrects biochemical abnormalities caused by Vitamin D deficiency.

How to take Uprise D3 6 L Injection

Overdose may cause hypercalcemia with symptoms like severe nausea/vomiting, confusion, arrhythmias, and dehydration—seek medical help. Not for self-administration unless specifically instructed.

Interactions with other medicines

Thiazide diuretics (risk of hypercalcemia), digoxin/other cardiac glycosides (arrhythmia risk with hypercalcemia), anticonvulsants like phenytoin/phenobarbital and rifampicin (reduced vitamin D effect), glucocorticoids (reduced effect), cholestyramine/orlistat (reduced absorption for oral vitamin D), aluminum- or magnesium-containing antacids (caution in renal impairment)
