How Amlocium-At Tablet works

How to take Amlocium-At Tablet

Warnings and precautions

Do not stop atenolol abruptly as it may worsen angina or precipitate heart problems. Monitor blood pressure and pulse regularly.

Do not take Amlocium-At if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with very low blood pressure or with severe narrowing of the aortic valve. Not for people with a very slow heart rate, certain heart block disorders, or uncontrolled heart failure. Generally avoided in severe asthma.

Interactions with other medicines

Other antihypertensives (additive BP lowering), digoxin (may increase bradycardia/AV block risk), verapamil/diltiazem (risk of excessive bradycardia/heart block), clonidine (rebound hypertension if stopped incorrectly), NSAIDs (may reduce antihypertensive effect), antiarrhythmics (e.g., amiodarone), alcohol (may increase dizziness/low BP).
