Antoxid Capsule is used for nutritional antioxidant supplement used to help reduce oxidative stress, support general health, immunity and recovery; commonly used as an adjuvant in fatigue/weakness and in conditions where antioxidant support is advised.
Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated September 2026
Antioxidant nutrients help neutralize free radicals and reduce oxidative damage to cells. They support normal immune function and may help improve overall vitality when dietary intake is inadequate.
Capsule to be swallowed whole with water. Generally taken once daily after food or as directed by a physician; do not exceed the recommended dose.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Antoxid as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Antoxid than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Antoxid are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver disease and in those with a history of kidney stones (if high-dose vitamin C is present). If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on long-term medicines, or have chronic illness, consult a doctor before use. Stop use and seek medical advice if rash, swelling or breathing difficulty occurs.
May interact with anticoagulants/antiplatelets (e.g., warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel) if the formulation contains vitamin E/omega-3; may affect absorption of certain antibiotics (tetracyclines/quinolones) if minerals like zinc/iron are present; may interfere with thyroid medication absorption if minerals are present—separate dosing by 2-4 hours.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the container tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
