It works by directly and selectively inhibiting factor Xa, an important clotting factor involved in thrombin generation. It reduces thrombin formation and helps prevent the development and spread of blood clots.
How to take Apithromb 2.5 Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Apithromb 2.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

If you miss a dose
