A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Arkamin Tablet. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.

Arkamin Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. It can also be used to prevent migraine attacks and hot flushes that may occur in women during the menopause.
Arkamin Tablet is an alpha-2 agonist. It works by relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.
