Atorec Gold 10 Tablet contains Aspirin (75mg) + Atorvastatin (10mg) + Clopidogrel (75mg). It belongs to the HMG‑CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) + COX inhibitor antiplatelet (aspirin) + P2Y12 inhibitor antiplatelet (clopidogrel) class of medicines.

How to take Atorec Gold 10 Tablet

Take orally exactly as prescribed, usually once daily. Swallow tablet whole with water; do not crush/chew (enteric-coated component). Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Atorec Gold 75mg/10mg/75mg Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine can cause serious and difficult-to-control bleeding. It is unlikely to cause immediate harm but may increase the risk of muscle and liver injury. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Do not stop antiplatelets without medical advice, especially after stent.

Do not take Atorec Gold if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with active bleeding, a bleeding disorder, or a recent bleed into the brain. Must not be used in pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Not for people with active liver disease.

Interactions with other medicines

Other anticoagulants/antiplatelets (warfarin, heparin, DOACs, ticagrelor) – bleeding; NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen) – bleeding and reduced aspirin effect (ibuprofen timing issue); SSRIs/SNRIs – bleeding; strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (clarithromycin, erythromycin, azole antifungals, HIV protease inhibitors) – increased atorvastatin levels/myopathy; fibrates (gemfibrozil), niacin – myopathy; cyclosporine – increased statin exposure; grapefruit juice – increased atorvastatin; PPIs/omeprazole may reduce clopidogrel activation (prefer pantoprazole if needed).

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep in original blister pack and out of reach of children.
