Composition of Becosules Capsule

Becosules Capsule contains B-Complex vitamins: Thiamine (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Calcium Pantothenate (Vitamin B5), Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6), Folic Acid (Vitamin B9), Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) (strengths may vary by pack/variant). It belongs to the Vitamin B-complex with Vitamin C class of medicines.

How Becosules Capsule works

B vitamins act as coenzymes in carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism and are essential for energy production and healthy nerve function. Folic acid and vitamin B12 support red blood cell formation, while vitamin C supports collagen synthesis and antioxidant defense.

How to take Becosules Capsule

Take as directed by a physician. Commonly taken as 1 capsule once daily after food; swallow whole with water. Do not exceed the recommended dose unless advised.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Becosules as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Becosules than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Becosules Capsule

Most side effects of Becosules are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

• Nausea

• diarrhea
• headache
• flushing
• bright yellow urine
• rash (rare)

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Use with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component. High-dose pyridoxine (vitamin B6) for long durations may cause neuropathy—avoid prolonged use beyond advice. If symptoms persist or you have anemia/neurological symptoms, consult a doctor to rule out other causes. In renal impairment or if taking multiple supplements, avoid excessive vitamin intake.

Interactions with other medicines

Levodopa (without carbidopa) may be antagonized by pyridoxine, Phenytoin/phenobarbital/primidone (folate may reduce levels), Methotrexate/trimethoprim (folate antagonists), Chloramphenicol (may blunt hematologic response to B12), Metformin and PPIs/H2 blockers (may reduce B12 absorption with long-term use)
