Bisonew 5 mg Tablet contains Bisoprolol fumarate 5 mg. It belongs to the Beta-blocker (cardioselective beta-1 adrenergic blocker) class of medicines.

How to take Bisonew 5 mg Tablet

Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day; may be taken with or without food. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice; dose may need gradual tapering.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

Warnings and precautions

May cause dizziness—avoid driving if affected. Inform doctor before surgery/anaesthesia.

Do not take Bisonew if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with a very slow heart rate, certain heart block disorders, or uncontrolled heart failure. Generally avoided in severe asthma.
