Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), angina pectoris (chest pain due to coronary artery disease); may be used in stable chronic heart failure as per physician advice.
Bisoprolol is a cardioselective beta-1 blocker. It reduces heart rate and the force of contraction, lowering blood pressure and decreasing the heart’s oxygen demand, which helps relieve angina and reduces cardiac workload.
Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day; can be taken with or without food. Swallow with water. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Bisoclas-5MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Do not stop abruptly (may worsen angina/arrhythmias). Use with caution in asthma/COPD, diabetes (may mask hypoglycemia symptoms), thyroid disorders, peripheral vascular disease, and in patients with low heart rate, heart block, or severe hypotension. Monitor blood pressure and pulse regularly. In heart failure, dose titration and monitoring are required. Seek urgent care for wheezing, severe dizziness/fainting, very slow pulse, or worsening breathlessness/leg swelling.
