Bisoprolol fumarate 2.5 mg
Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension), management of angina (chest pain) due to coronary artery disease, adjunct therapy in stable chronic heart failure (as prescribed).
Bisoprolol is a selective beta-1 adrenergic blocker. It reduces heart rate and the force of contraction, lowering blood pressure and decreasing the heart’s oxygen demand, which helps in hypertension and angina.
Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow with water; do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
Common side effects of CADBIS-2.5MG TAB may include:
Do not stop abruptly (may worsen angina/heart problems). Use with caution in asthma/COPD, diabetes (may mask low sugar symptoms), thyroid disorders, peripheral vascular disease, and history of severe allergies. Avoid in severe bradycardia, heart block (2nd/3rd degree), cardiogenic shock, and decompensated heart failure unless advised by a doctor. Monitor blood pressure and pulse; caution while driving if dizzy.
