Corbis Am 2.5/2.5 mg Tablet contains Amlodipine 2.5 mg + Bisoprolol 2.5 mg. It belongs to the Calcium channel blocker + Beta-1 selective beta-blocker class of medicines.
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure); may also be used in patients with stable angina when combination therapy is appropriate.
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure and reducing cardiac workload. Bisoprolol is a cardioselective beta-blocker that slows heart rate and reduces the force of contraction, helping control blood pressure and angina symptoms.
Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Corbis Am 2.5/2.5 mg as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Corbis Am 2.5/2.5 mg than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Corbis Am 2.5/2.5 mg are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Use with caution in heart failure, conduction disorders (AV block), bradycardia, severe hypotension, asthma/COPD (may worsen breathing), diabetes (may mask hypoglycaemia symptoms), thyroid disorders (may mask symptoms), liver impairment (amlodipine), and severe peripheral vascular disease. Do not stop beta-blocker abruptly (risk of rebound angina/HTN). Seek urgent help for severe dizziness/fainting, wheeze, chest pain worsening, or swelling of face/lips (allergy).
Other antihypertensives (additive BP lowering), verapamil/diltiazem/amiodarone/digoxin (increased bradycardia/heart block risk), clonidine (rebound hypertension on withdrawal), NSAIDs (may reduce antihypertensive effect), CYP3A4 inhibitors/inducers affecting amlodipine (e.g., clarithromycin, azole antifungals, grapefruit juice; rifampicin, carbamazepine, phenytoin), alcohol (increases dizziness/low BP), insulin/oral antidiabetics (masked hypoglycaemia), beta-agonist bronchodilators (reduced effect).
Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
