Deriphyllin Bm Exp 100 ml contains Etophylline 115 mg + Theophylline 35 mg per 5 ml (as Deriphyllin). It belongs to the Methylxanthine (theophylline derivative) bronchodilator class of medicines.

How Deriphyllin Bm Exp 100 ml works

Etophylline and theophylline are methylxanthine bronchodilators. They relax bronchial smooth muscles and improve airflow, and also reduce airway responsiveness by inhibiting phosphodiesterase and antagonizing adenosine.

How to take Deriphyllin Bm Exp 100 ml

Oral syrup. Take exactly as prescribed; measure with a dosing cup/spoon. Can be taken with food to reduce stomach upset; take at the same time each day and avoid exceeding the dose. Do not use for acute severe asthma attack unless advised by a doctor.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose
