Ecosprin Gold 20 Capsule contains Aspirin (as enteric-coated) 75 mg + Clopidogrel 75 mg + Rosuvastatin 20 mg. It belongs to the COX inhibitor (aspirin) + P2Y12 inhibitor (clopidogrel) + HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (rosuvastatin) class of medicines.

How Ecosprin Gold 20 Capsule works

Aspirin and clopidogrel reduce platelet aggregation by inhibiting thromboxane A2 formation and blocking P2Y12 receptors, lowering clot formation risk. Rosuvastatin inhibits HMG-CoA reductase to reduce LDL cholesterol and stabilize atherosclerotic plaques.

How to take Ecosprin Gold 20 Capsule

Take as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time. Swallow capsule whole; do not crush or chew. Can be taken with or without food; take with food if gastric irritation occurs.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

Carry a card or note saying which blood thinner you take. Take it at the same time every day; a missed dose leaves you less protected. Use paracetamol rather than an anti-inflammatory for ordinary aches, unless your doctor says otherwise. Continue your diet, exercise and, above all, stopping smoking — the medicine adds to these, not replaces them. Get your lipid profile repeated as your doctor advises.
