Evion LC Tablet contains Levocarnitine (150mg) + Tocopheryl (200mg). It belongs to the Amino acid derivative (L-carnitine) + Vitamin (Vitamin E) class of medicines.

How Evion LC Tablet works

How to take Evion LC Tablet

Take as prescribed, usually once daily after food. Swallow whole with water; do not exceed recommended dose.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine may cause stomach upset and, with prolonged excess, puts avoidable load on the kidneys. It can cause vomiting, stomach pain and, with some minerals, damage over the longer term. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Most side effects of Evion LC are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Warnings and precautions

Use caution in patients with seizure disorders (carnitine may rarely increase seizure risk) and in kidney disease. Not intended to replace treatment for underlying infertility causes; use under medical supervision.

Do not take Evion LC if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with inherited disorders of amino-acid metabolism, or with a known allergy to the protein source.

Interactions with other medicines

Warfarin (may increase INR reported with carnitine), thyroid hormone (carnitine may reduce thyroid hormone action in some settings), anticoagulants/antiplatelets (high-dose vitamin E increases bleeding risk)

How to store Evion LC Tablet

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light.
