Amlodipine 5 mg (as amlodipine besylate) tablet

Uses of Evomax 5MG Tab

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), chronic stable angina, vasospastic (Prinzmetal’s) angina; helps reduce risk of cardiovascular events associated with high blood pressure.

How it works

Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle. This lowers peripheral resistance and blood pressure and improves blood flow to the heart, reducing angina symptoms.

Directions for use

Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow the tablet with water; do not stop abruptly without medical advice. If you miss a dose, take it when remembered unless it is near the next dose.
