Evomax 5 mg Tablet contains Amlodipine 5 mg (as amlodipine besylate) tablet. It belongs to the Calcium channel blocker (Dihydropyridine) class of medicines.

How Evomax 5 mg Tablet works

Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle. This lowers peripheral resistance and blood pressure and improves blood flow to the heart, reducing angina symptoms.

How to take Evomax 5 mg Tablet

Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow the tablet with water; do not stop abruptly without medical advice. If you miss a dose, take it when remembered unless it is near the next dose.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
