Vitamin D helps the intestine absorb calcium and phosphate and supports normal bone mineralization. It maintains adequate serum calcium for bone growth and strength.
Oral drops: use the measured dropper as advised by a doctor/prescriber. Can be given directly into the mouth or mixed with a small amount of milk/water; preferably give at the same time each day; may be taken with or without food (often better absorbed with food containing fat).

Do not exceed recommended dose. Use with caution in hypercalcemia, hypervitaminosis D, kidney stones, severe kidney disease, sarcoidosis or other granulomatous diseases. Prolonged high doses can cause vitamin D toxicity (high calcium) with symptoms like excessive thirst, frequent urination, confusion, and vomiting—seek medical help. Keep out of reach of children.
