Medically reviewed by Dr. Balaji Krishnan, MBBS · Updated September 2026
Maxirich Multivitamin Syrup 200 ml contains Multivitamin. It belongs to the Multivitamin class of medicines.
This medicine is used in the treatment of nutritional deficiency and dietary supplementation.
Multivitamin supplies a range of vitamins and minerals to cover gaps in the diet.
Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure it with the cup, spoon or dropper supplied — a kitchen spoon is not an accurate measure. Take it with or after food. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.
An overdose of this medicine can cause vomiting and stomach pain, and is more serious when the product contains iron. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
Most side effects of Maxirich Multivitamin are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
| Pregnancy | Consult your doctor before using this in pregnancy. |
|---|---|
| Breastfeeding | Consult your doctor before using this while breastfeeding. |
| Alcohol | No significant interaction with alcohol is expected. |
| Driving | Not expected to affect your ability to drive. |
| Kidney | Use with caution if you have kidney disease — your doctor may adjust the dose or monitor your kidney function. |
| Liver | Use with caution if you have liver disease — your doctor may adjust the dose or monitor your liver function. |
| Habit forming | No |
Do not take more than one multivitamin product at a time — the doses add together. A multivitamin does not treat tiredness that has another cause; persistent tiredness should be investigated.
Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack.
The minerals in a multivitamin reduce the absorption of thyroid tablets and some antibiotics — separate them by a few hours.
Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Once opened, use it within the period printed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children.
Take it with food. A varied diet remains the best source of these nutrients.
