Telmisartan 40 mg + Metoprolol succinate (extended-release) 50 mg

Uses of Meplol T 40/50 Tab

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), especially when a single medicine is not sufficient; helps reduce risk of cardiovascular events associated with uncontrolled BP as advised by physician

How it works

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II effects, lowering blood pressure. Metoprolol succinate is a cardioselective beta-blocker that slows heart rate and reduces the force of contraction, lowering blood pressure and cardiac workload.

Directions for use

Oral tablet; take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time. Can be taken with or without food; swallow whole with water (do not crush/chew if extended-release). Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
