Nebivolol 5 mg (as Nebivolol Hydrochloride) tablet
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure); may be used in stable chronic heart failure as advised by a doctor.
Nebivolol is a selective beta-1 adrenergic blocker that lowers heart rate and reduces the force of contraction, decreasing cardiac workload and blood pressure. It also enhances nitric oxide–mediated vasodilation, helping relax blood vessels.
Take orally exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow with water; do not stop suddenly without medical advice. Dose adjustment may be needed in elderly or kidney/liver problems.
Common side effects of Nebivie 5MG Tab may include:

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Nebivie 5MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Do not use in severe bradycardia, sick sinus syndrome (without pacemaker), second/third-degree AV block, cardiogenic shock, severe hypotension, severe heart failure not stabilized, or severe liver impairment. Use with caution in asthma/COPD, diabetes (may mask hypoglycaemia symptoms), thyroid disorders, peripheral vascular disease, and in patients with conduction disorders. Do not stop abruptly (risk of rebound angina/hypertension); taper under medical supervision. Monitor blood pressure and pulse; seek care for fainting, wheeze, or worsening breathlessness/edema.
