Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure); management of chronic stable angina and vasospastic (Prinzmetal) angina

• •Helps prevent complications of hypertension (stroke/heart attack risk reduction)
• •Relieves and prevents angina chest pain
• •Improves blood flow by relaxing blood vessels

How it works

Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. It relaxes and widens blood vessels by inhibiting calcium entry into vascular smooth muscle, thereby lowering blood pressure and reducing cardiac workload to relieve angina.

Directions for use

Take by mouth as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow with water. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

Common side effects of S-Amcard 2.5 may include:
