How Uprise D3 1K Capsule works

Cholecalciferol is converted in the body to active vitamin D, which increases intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphorus. It helps maintain normal bone mineralization and supports muscle function.

How to take Uprise D3 1K Capsule

Take orally as directed by physician. Usually 1 capsule once daily; swallow whole with water, preferably after food or with a meal containing fat for better absorption. Do not exceed recommended dose.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine can raise blood calcium dangerously, causing thirst, frequent urination, vomiting, confusion and kidney damage. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Warnings and precautions

Use with caution in hypercalcemia, hypervitaminosis D, kidney stones, severe renal impairment, sarcoidosis or other granulomatous diseases. Monitor calcium levels if taking high doses or long-term. Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with a high blood calcium level, or with certain kidney stones.

Interactions with other medicines

Thiazide diuretics (risk of hypercalcemia), digoxin/cardiac glycosides (arrhythmia risk with high calcium), anticonvulsants like phenytoin/phenobarbital and rifampicin (reduced vitamin D effect), corticosteroids (reduced absorption/effect), cholestyramine/orlistat (reduced absorption), calcium supplements (additive hypercalcemia risk)

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep in original pack and out of reach of children.
