Zincovit Tablet contains Multivitamin and multimineral supplement containing Grape seed extract, Zinc, Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid), Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Vitamin D3, B-complex vitamins (B1, B2, B3/Niacinamide, B5/Calcium pantothenate, B6, Folic acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12) and trace minerals such as Selenium, Copper, Manganese, Iodine (strengths vary by pack; refer label).. It belongs to the Multivitamin-multimineral with antioxidants class of medicines.

How Zincovit Tablet works

Zincovit provides essential vitamins and minerals required for normal metabolic functions, red blood cell formation, nerve function and tissue repair. Antioxidants like vitamins C & E and grape seed extract help neutralize free radicals and support immune function.

How to take Zincovit Tablet

Take as advised by physician. Generally, 1 tablet once daily after food (preferably after breakfast) or as directed. Swallow whole with water; do not exceed recommended dose.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Zincovit as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Zincovit than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Zincovit Tablet

Most side effects of Zincovit are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Do not use if allergic to any ingredient. Excess intake may cause hypervitaminosis (especially A/D) or mineral imbalance; avoid taking multiple supplements containing the same vitamins/minerals. Interactions with other medicines

Tetracyclines, Fluoroquinolones, Penicillamine, Levothyroxine, Bisphosphonates, Antacids/iron/calcium supplements (may reduce absorption of zinc and other minerals), Warfarin (vitamin K containing supplements may affect anticoagulation; check label), Thiazide diuretics (may affect calcium/vitamin D related balance)
