How Zyrova F10 Tablet works
Rosuvastatin is a statin that inhibits HMG‑CoA reductase, reducing cholesterol synthesis in the liver. It lowers LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides and can modestly increase HDL (good cholesterol), helping slow atherosclerosis progression.
How to take Zyrova F10 Tablet
Take by mouth as directed by the doctor, usually once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow tablet whole with water. Continue diet and exercise advice; do not stop without medical advice.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Missed dose and overdose
If you miss a dose
Take the missed dose of Zyrova F10 as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

Taking more Zyrova F10 than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Warnings and precautions
Prescription medicine. Tell your doctor if you have liver disease, kidney problems, hypothyroidism, heavy alcohol use, or history of muscle disorders. Stop and seek medical help if you develop unexplained muscle pain/weakness especially with fever or dark urine (risk of myopathy/rhabdomyolysis). Periodic lipid profile and liver function tests may be advised. Not recommended in active liver disease. Dose adjustments may be needed in renal impairment.
Interactions with other medicines
Cyclosporine, gemfibrozil and other fibrates, niacin, protease inhibitors (e.g., ritonavir combinations), warfarin/other anticoagulants (may change INR), ezetimibe (increases myopathy risk), antacids containing aluminium/magnesium (reduce absorption; separate dosing), colchicine (myopathy risk)
