Rosuvastatin 10 mg
Used to treat high cholesterol (hyperlipidaemia) and mixed dyslipidaemia; to reduce risk of heart attack, stroke and other cardiovascular events in at-risk patients.
Rosuvastatin is a statin that inhibits HMG‑CoA reductase, reducing cholesterol synthesis in the liver. It lowers LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides and can modestly increase HDL (good cholesterol), helping slow atherosclerosis progression.
Take by mouth as directed by the doctor, usually once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow tablet whole with water. Continue diet and exercise advice; do not stop without medical advice.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Zyrova F10 Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Prescription medicine. Tell your doctor if you have liver disease, kidney problems, hypothyroidism, heavy alcohol use, or history of muscle disorders. Stop and seek medical help if you develop unexplained muscle pain/weakness especially with fever or dark urine (risk of myopathy/rhabdomyolysis). Periodic lipid profile and liver function tests may be advised. Not recommended in active liver disease. Dose adjustments may be needed in renal impairment.
