Levosalbutamol (as Levalbuterol) 50 mcg + Ipratropium bromide 20 mcg per metered dose (MDI)
Relief and prevention of bronchospasm in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including wheeze, shortness of breath and chest tightness
Levosalbutamol is a short-acting beta-2 agonist that relaxes airway smooth muscle to quickly open the airways. Ipratropium is an anticholinergic that blocks muscarinic receptors in the bronchi, reducing bronchoconstriction and mucus secretion. Together they provide additive bronchodilation.
Inhalation use only. Shake well before use; exhale fully, place mouthpiece and inhale slowly while pressing the canister; hold breath ~10 seconds and exhale. Use as prescribed; if using multiple puffs, wait 30–60 seconds between puffs. Can be used with/without food; rinse mouth after use and use a spacer if advised.
Common side effects of AIRZ FB MDI may include:
Do not exceed prescribed dose. Seek urgent care if breathing worsens or rescue relief is inadequate (paradoxical bronchospasm can occur). Use with caution in heart disease/arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, seizure disorder, glaucoma, and prostatic hypertrophy/urinary retention. Avoid spraying into eyes (risk of blurred vision/precipitating angle-closure glaucoma). Monitor potassium if high-dose/frequent use. Not a substitute for anti-inflammatory controller therapy unless advised.
