Treatment of Sneezing and runny nose due to allergies
Arzep Nasal Spray is an antihistaminic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, and itchy nose by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.
Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. As you spray, breath gently and keep the head upright. Repeat the same process for the other nostrils.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Arzep Nasal Spray, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Arzep Nasal than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Arzep Nasal are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Arzep Nasal. Some combinations can change how Arzep Nasal works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Arzep Nasal below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
The right way to use the nasal spray: Shake the bottle before using the medicine. Clean your nose thoroughly before using the medicine. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. Breathe out gently through your mouth and repeat the same process for the other nostril. Avoid deep breathing as it will cause medication to go back to the throat and make it less effective. Do not share the bottle with anyone else so that you do not spread germs. Arzep Nasal Spray should be avoided in patients with recent nasal ulcers, nasal surgery, or nasal trauma. Your doctor has prescribed Arzep Nasal Spray to help relieve allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling and rashes. As compared to other similar medications, it is much less likely to make you feel sleepy. Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as it can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication as it may cause increased sleepiness. Stop taking Arzep Nasal Spray at least 3 days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
